Out for the 2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards, Evan Rachel Wood looked simply stunning as she strutted along the red carpet at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday evening (January 25).
The “Life Before Her Eyes” beauty slowly but surely made her way inside, getting geared up for her duties as a presenter at the glitzy ceremony.
Evan tells, “I cut my finger throwing something at him (Rourke). I squeezed a can and sliced my finger open in the middle of the scene. I’m covered in blood and (Aronofsky) the director’s going, ‘Use it! Look at your hand! Keep going! Let’s take some photos of that blood make sure ours is authentic.’(He’s) Not like, ‘Are you OK?’ He said, ‘So we can call an ambulance, but we don’t have a lot of time. We can superglue it.’”
Meanwhile,Fresh off of a red carpet night the previous evening, Penelope Cruz was back at it again as she arrived at the Shrine Auditorium for the 2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday evening (January 25).
The 34-year-old Spanish beauty looked lovely in a black curve-accentuating gown as she mingled with guests before hitting the entrance.
During the night’s ceremony, Penelope is up for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for her portrayal of Maria Elena in “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” – which comes out on DVD this Tuesday (January 27).
As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Miss Cruz was named Chopin Outstanding Performer of the Year at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival the previous night.
