Jon Wilhite, 24, also of Manhattan Beach, was reported in critical condition at the University of California Irvine Medical Center in Orange after car crash with Andrew Thomas Gallo. Jon Wilhite has been indentified as the surviving passenger in a car driven by Courtney Stewart that killed her, Nick Adenhart, and a third 27 year old male yet unidentified.
Wilhite is being treated in the hospital's intensive care unit.
Wilhite played baseball from 2004-08 at Cal State Fullerton. Stewart was a friend of Adenhart.
Wilhite, a Fullerton grad, attended Wednesday night's game with friends, watching Adenhart pitch from a suite. Neily said Pearson received his tickets from Brandon Wood, an Angels minor league player.
Wilhite, Adenhart, Pearson and Courtney Frances Stewart, 20, of Diamond Bar went dancing after the game.
Gallo’s minivan crashed into Stewart’s driven Mistubishi. Wilhite was quickly rushed to University of California Irvine Medical Center following the accident and has been in critical condition since last night.
Henry Nigel Pearson, 27, of Manhattan Beach died along with Adenhart in the early morning crash in Fullerton.
Update:3rd Adenhart Crash Victim Identified
The 3rd victim of the tragic car wreck that killed baseball star Nick Adenhart has been identified as 25-year-old Henry Nigel Pearson.Henry, who was also a baseball enthusiast, was friends with the only survivor from the Mitsubishi -- Jon Wilhite.
According to reports, Pearson was a law student who wanted to be a sports agent.
