My old Loop colleague Danny Bonaduce is putting his house up for sale in Philly after his station flipped formats there. From this morning's RAMP newsletter...
"If you happen to live in the greater Philadelphia area and are looking for a unique property, Bonaduce's loft townhouse in now on the market. As you know, Bonaduce most recently co-hosted mornings on CBS Classic Rock WYSP/Philadelphia until it flipped to a simulcast of WIP-AM on Sept. 6, becoming "SportsRadio 94 WIP" -- which caused most of the WYSP airstaff to be released. While Bonaduce reportedly remains under contract with CBS, no other radio opportunities have materialized in the area thus far, so he's put his four-story, 2,360-square-foot Old City loft townhome up for sale for $475,000. Realtor.com has a whole spread on the property, which has been extensively renovated, including this centerpiece of a kitchen, which was completely revamped courtesy of HGTV's Kitchen Impossible show. The entire building is commercially zoned and has the first floor available for use as "a professional office, gallery, workshop or in-law suite," says the listing. The second floor has an open floor plan and is currently used as a living room and hangout space. The third floor contains the kitchen, dining room and living room, while the fourth floor is home to a large master suite and has roof access."
I interviewed Danny for Chicago Radio Spotlight a few years ago. That interview is here if you're interested.
