Jihad called against David Letterman

The New York Post is reporting this, so take it with a grain of salt, but they claim that Letterman's recent jokes about the death of Bin Laden have caused a jihad to be called against him.

"I have seen with my eyes and heard with my ears one of the scum of the Jews, one of their pigs, mocking the leaders of the mujahedeen," al-Basrawi wrote Tuesday, according to translation by the Middle East Media Research Institute, a nonprofit that monitors online chatter. "We pray to Allah to paralyze his tongue, and that the righteous believers will break his neck," the threat continued.

Um, first of all, Letterman's definitely not Jewish. Secondly, if his tongue is paralyzed, is it really necessary to also break his neck? Seems like overkill to me.
