Homeless DJ Update

From Tom Taylor's column this morning...

"Ted Williams – the Ted Williams who blew a few comeback opportunities after being discovered as a homeless radio jock in Columbus – now has a steady gig at NECN, the New England Cable News operation. The Boston Herald’s Jessica Heslam says Williams is doing the voiceover work from his place in Dublin, Ohio. NECN manager Stacey Marks Bronner wanted Williams because of his “a one-of-a-kind voice.” Williams claims that after going through rehab, he’s stayed sober since May 4. A nice touch for his recent visit to NECN in Massachusetts – the staffers gave him a #9 Red Sox jersey, of the baseball legend who shares his name."

If the name Stacey Marks Bronner sounds familiar to Chicagoans, it should. She ran Fox32 in Chicago for many years.
