How out of line was he last week when he defended a group of Christian terrorists (murderers and rapists) from Africa? So out of line that Senator James Inhofe, the most conservative member of the Senate, took to the Senate floor to read Rush's comments into the Congressional record so he could denounce them.
Whoa.
I know Rush is still refusing to apologize, but if you read between the lines in this article, you can tell he knows he blew it this time. He actually admitted he was "misinformed", which if I can translate Rush-speak for you means this: "I am totally and utterly wrong. Whoops."
He tried to say those actual words once off the air and his head exploded. Avoiding saying those words again is not obstinacy on his part--it's a medical necessity. Please understand.
