Johnny Depp in New “Dark Shadows” Set Photos – First Look!

Some of the best movie roles and epic characters have been blessed by the work of Johnny Depp.

Now, Depp embarks over to the dark side with the remake of the 1960’s television series “Dark Shadows”.

Curiously, the series was actually considered a soap opera when it first aired.

Warner Brothers has released the first glimpse of Depp on the set in full Barnabas attire and we got to say… they look a little bizarre.

Not that there is anything wrong with that - we’re just saying we were expecting more of a “Twilight” effect rather than the Michael Jackson effect.

Johnny Depp on set of "Dark Shadows"
The movie is directed by Tim Burton and will star Depp so you can only imagine what the end result will be – but expect your classic dramatic horror mystery thriller.

Filming is currently underway and the final product is due for release in May 2012.

The current “Dark Shadows” movie is described as,

“A gothic-horror tale centering on the life of vampire Barnabas Collins and his run-ins with various monsters, witches, werewolves and ghosts and is based on the popular "Dark Shadows" TV series.”

You see, sometime around 1752, Joshua and Naomi Collins and their young son Barnabas, set sail from Liverpool England to start a new life in the United States. But even an ocean was not enough to escape the mysterious curse that plagued their family.

Twenty years has passed and Barnabas (Johnny Depp) is now the master of Collinwood Manor. Barnabas is rich, powerful, and a confirmed playboy...until he makes the critical mistake of breaking the heart of Angelique Bouchard (Eva Green).

Barnabas Collins
A witch, in every sense of the word, Angelique dooms him to a fate worse than death - turning him into a vampire and then burying him alive.

Twenty years later, Barnabas is accidentally freed from his crypt and materializes into the very changed world of 1972.

Of course Johnny Depp will be playing the role of the now infamous Barnabas Collins, Chloe Moretz will take on the role of Carolyn Stoddard, Helena Bonham Carter will portray Dr. Julia Hoffman, and Michelle Pfeiffer will play Elizabeth Collins Stoddard.

For those not familiar with the original series, here is a glimpse of Barnabas returning to Collinwood after being gone for 20 years.

Okay, so in today’s standards that may seem little dull, but in its day “Dark Shadows” was ground breaking stuff.

Imagine – vampires on TV!

Anyway, if anybody can pull it off it is Tim Burton and Johnny Depp.

Video - Madonna Hates Hydrangeas – Or Not. YouTube Video Confuses Fans

Wow, Hollywood sure can be a strange place.

And so can Venice Italy when Madonna is there.

Last week during a press conference for her new film “W.E.”, Madonna was handed a Hydrangea flower by one of her fans.

She smiled, said thank you, and then proceeded to hand it off to an assistance while uttering those now famous words – “I absolutely loath Hydrangeas”.

Of course her microphone was still on and her comments were picked up for the snooping press to hear.

Well, Madonna should have just stopped there, let it go, never said another word about it – and it all would have faded away.

But noooo, she had to go and make a new YouTube video about the incident.

Madonna took to YouTube, with what you could call a rebuttal to the press backlash, where she filmed a black and white video clip appearing to apologize to the scorned Hydrangea flower.

The problem?

While Madonna apologizes to the flower itself, she never apologizes to the fan who gave it to her. And at the very end she gets a crazy look on her face and says once again how much she hates the flower.

So now we are confused.

What was the purpose of this video?

In the end we decided we don’t care - and neither does the rest of the World so we stopped contemplating its meaning.

In the end, we all know what she SHOULD have done, and those feelings can be summed up with this funny video made by someone with entirely too much time on their hands.

For her part, Madonna continues to promote her new film “W.E.” - a two-tiered romantic drama focusing on the affair between King Edward VIII and American divorcée Wallis Simpson and a modern-day romance between a married woman and a Russian security guard.

Yawn… sounds boring, but the kind of film you would expect Madonna to be part of. In fact, not only did she write the screenplay and much of the script but is also acting as director.

Anyway, in the end we just decided we don’t care about her Hydrangea episode or her movie and are kind of wondering why we even decided to write this story.

Oh well, it does make for a quick chuckle!

Video - Young Leo Howard Kickin' It In "Conan the Barbarian 3D" – New Trailer

Anybody who has been watching the new Disney XD show “Kickin’ It” knows who 14-year-old Leo Howard is.

Leo, who has a black belt in karate and is a martial arts master in real life, has displayed his skills in the Disney Wasabi Dojo profiled in the show and has made “Kickin’ It” a smash hit for the network.

Now he is branching out into his first big screen action adventure movie while taking a starring role.

Related: Leo Howard Kicks his way into Disney’s “Kickin’ It” - Video

But in August we are going to see a side to Leo that Disney will never show you.

Howard is playing the young “Conan the Barbarian” in the August 19th release of the 3D action film starring Ron Pearlman, Jason Momoa as adult Conan, Rose McGowan - and Leo as Conan as a child.

“Conan the Barbarian 3D” tells the tale of a quest that begins as a personal vendetta for the fierce warrior, but soon turns into an epic battle against enormous rivals, horrifying monsters, shirtless villains, and impossible odds.

Conan realizes he is the only hope of saving the great nations of Hyboria from an encroaching reign of supernatural evil.

Lionsgate has just released a new red band trailer showing Leo in his role as young Conan while taking part in an epic challenge to decide who will fight with the warriors.

It shows young Conan participating in a challenge where he has to race through the woods with and egg in his mouth, and deliver it unbroken to the final destination.

But along the way the group is ambushed by the enemy and an epic battle ensues and Leo kicks some serious butt.

There is lots of blood and gore and Leo Howard saves the group and returns to the elders with the severed heads of three bad guys – then spits the unbroken egg from his mouth!

This is the first “Conan” trailer where we really get to see Leo in action and he does impress us with both his acting ability and martial arts moves.

The kid definitely knows how to fight.

Leo is no stranger to Hollywood.

He has already had roles in “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra”, “Shorts”, and “Logan” before snagging his role with Disney.

Howard also starred in the TV series “Zeke and Luther”, “Children of the Corn”, and “Aussie and Ted's Great Adventure”.

Related: Meet Leo Howard – Bio of a Karate Master and Movie Star – Video

With a smash hit television series and now a major role in an action adventure movie we suspect Leo will be a hot property in the near future and will have directors beating down his door with job offers.

Being a teen idol seems to come naturally to the young star and he is not afraid to take the shirtless pose for teen idol magazines to keep the interest up among his young female fans.

If your kids aren’t talking about Leo Howard yet – they will be soon.

Harry Potter Fans Seek Grief Counseling After the End of an Era and the Death of Their Childhood Hero - Video

When you think about it, any kid under eighteen-years-old has spent a lifetime with Harry Potter and his friends.

Eight books, eight films, computer games, lunch boxes, 10+ years, $6 billion in worldwide sales, and there will be residuals for all the grownups for years to come.

As of Tuesday, Deathly Hallows had grossed over $525 million worldwide to make it the single best first week movie opening ever.

The first Harry Potter movie was “The Sorcerer’s Stone” and came out in 2001 – shortly after the first J.K. Rowling book was released.

And millions of kids are obsessed with Harry, Hogwarts, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Professor Dumbledore, Professor Snape, Lucius and Draco Malfoy, Professor McGonagall, Hagrid, and the worlds most hated villain ever - Lord Voldemort.

These are names that every kid has known for years, and the world has indeed, fallen in love with everything Harry Potter.

That’s what makes The Deathly Hallows so difficult for some children – they feel like they have just lost a lifetime friend to the dark side of evil.

Watch Harry Potter - A Look Back...

Remember how you felt as a child watching young Bambi getting injured, and the possibility of never seeing her mother again. Did you cry?

Now, multiply that feeling by about a million and stretch it out over ten years.

That’s what some child psychologists are saying will happen with the death of Potter. They say the death of Harry resembles the same emotions that a child feels after they lose a close family member to death, or after the loss of a cherished family pet.

Doctors say there may be a silent impact on some children’s brain as they slowly realize they will never see Harry again.

And that has them worried.

In fact, some schools across the country are setting up “grief stations” during their summer sessions so children can talk to psychologists about their “loss”.

Other schools have consulted with specialists about how to deal with the long term effects of their summer session students coming to grips that they have lost a cherished childhood friend.

“It can be traumatic. They know it’s only a movie but their grief bubbles to the surface and they don’t know how to deal with it. Their grades can suffer and their social world can come crumbling down like a ton of bricks.”

Teachers and staff say they will be on the lookout for sudden drops in grades, irritability from normally stable kids, non-social behavior, and loss of interest in school, sports, and friends.

“Some children may not even realize or understand what is happening. All they know is Harry is gone and they don’t care about anything else anymore – friends, family, grades, or sports. These are the signs we will be looking for.”

J.K. Rowling seems to understand that you can’t just kill off Harry and expect things to be normal. She has already said she will continue to release “Potter” games, writings, and a website dedicated to everything Potter that emerges fans into an online social world of Harry Potter called Pottermore.

Watch Deathly Hallows Movie Trailer

Experts say this will help, and may actually spawn a new industry designed to keep the memories alive.

“Now you will have fans creating what’s called fan fiction and other cultural offshoots. There will continue to be a world of Hogwarts even though the movies have come to an end. Look at Star Trek, that legacy has lived on through comic-con, fan fiction, conventions, trade shows, and specialized websites.”

Now that the story has drawn to a close, some believe there will be spinoffs, sequels, prequels, and new books focusing specifically on still living characters like Hagrid, Hermione Granger or Ron Weasley.

Bottom line:

Our children are strong and will get past this brief hiccup in their emotional development. And it just may bring out new creativity that we can only imagine in pushing the continuing legacy of the world of Harry Potter.

It aint over yet….

Shia LaBeouf – Stop Talking Before You Get Into Trouble – Too Late

Poor Shia LaBeouf.

Sometimes he just doesn’t know when to stop talking.

For years, Hollywood bad boy Shia has had a problem with cops, booze, women, co-stars, gay slurs, moonshine, and directors – and now he has opened up to Details Magazine, and somebody should have stopped him.

His latest flick, “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” is out and the initial response is positive – even as others feel the franchise has become a bit stale and unbelievable.

And once again the young action hero finds himself in hot water after running his mouth.

But let’s start at the beginning.

A few years ago, Shia made news for entering a Walgreens drugstore sloppy drunk at 3:00 in the morning and trying to buy cigarettes. He was arrested.

Next was a car accident that badly mangled his hand and fingers that caused a delay in the filming schedule. The injury was ultimately written into the script so filming could continue.

Then it was a well-publicized incident at a Brite Spot Family Restaurant after a fan wanted to take his picture and he said “no”. It ended with Shia on the sidewalk in handcuffs.

A few weeks ago he told MTV,

"I'm not coming back to do another one. I don't think director Michael Bay will either. It's still a hot property, I think, especially coming out of the third one. So I imagine they'll reboot it at some point with someone else."

After completing the third sequel, “Transformers: Dark of the Moon”, LaBeouf is distancing himself from the popular series.

Next were his comments about his co-star Megan Fox.

LaBeouf dumped on her acting abilities and staying power in a male dominated Hollywood and ruffling a few feathers by saying,

"Megan developed this Spice Girl strength, this woman-empowerment stuff that made her feel awkward about her involvement with Michael. He films women in a way that appeals to a 16-year-old sexuality. It’s summer. It’s Michael’s style. And I think Megan Fox never got comfortable with it. This is a girl who was taken from complete obscurity and placed in a sex-driven role in front of the whole world and told she was the sexiest woman in America. And she had a hard time accepting it.”

Ouch. You would think by these statements the two most definitely DO NOT get along.

But you would be wrong.

When asked by a Details editor about the possibility of him hooking up with Fox he said,

“Look, you’re on the set for six months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them. I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen.”

The problem?

At the time Shia was on set filming “Transformers”, Fox was dating Brian Austin Green.

Awkward? You bet.

When asked about the possible conflict of interest Shia responded,

“I don’t know, man. I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know. I Don’t know…. It was what it was.”

Running into rough patches with co-starts is not new for the actor.

After a lukewarm reception for his performance in “Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull” with superstar Harrison Ford, Shia admits he was not up to par during filming and also criticized the film in the press.

Harrison Ford remembers it a bit differently saying,

"I think I told him he was a f##king idiot. As an actor, I think it's my obligation to support the film without making a complete ass of myself. Shia is ambitious, attentive, and talented—and he's learning how to deal with a situation which is very unique and difficult."

And he seems to be learning well.

In fact, he has just completed filming his latest movie “The Wettest Country in the World” a crime-drama centered on a family of Depression-era bootleggers in the American South and due in theaters next year.

We also hear there may be another chance for LaBeouf to get it right in a new “Indiana Jones”, and we’re sure there will be a “Wall Street” sequel in a year or two.

This is what we like to see – a Hollywood action hero who acts like one in real life and doesn’t take nothing from nobody.

Go Shia!

Leo Howard Kicks His Way into Disney’s New Karate Series “Kickin’ It” – Video

Every now and then Disney gets it right.

The Disney XD channel, known for its predominantly teen oriented programming, launched its latest action series called “Kickin’ It” last night - and it looks like a hit.

Or maybe we should say a “kick”.

The premise of the show revolves around two competing martial arts dojos and their attempt to recruit the hottest karate kid in town played by 14-year-old Leo Howard.

Howard, no stranger to martial arts and action flicks, finds himself in the starring role of “Jack”, the grandson of the Wasabi Warriors Karate franchise founder and master trainer.

Jack not only tries to save the Wasabi Dojo, but also tries to impress the cutest girl in the club. It’s classic teen Disney, and sure to be a hit if they give the series enough time to find an audience.

And Leo Howard’s got the moves.

In the premier episode, Howard performs a number of high performance kicks, flips, punches, and deflections – showing he is no stranger to this type of work.

And for good reason.

Leo is a champion black belt in martial arts, has been doing karate since he was 5-years-old, and is a member of the Sideswipe Performance Team – a high impact martial arts exhibition club in California.

His dad is the famous Todd Howard - also called “The Big Bulldog" who is another master of the martial arts.

Leo was born in Newport Beach California, but today lives near San Diego so he can work on his karate and television productions.

Not only is Leo Howard a Karate Master, but he also knows his way around Hollywood.

Before joining Disney, Leo got his start in a bit part on the popular TV series “Monk” playing a young karate kid.

Karate Master Leo Howard
His first movie role was in the action movie “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” with Sienna Miller, Dennis Quaid and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The film told the story of an elite military unit comprised of special operatives known as G.I. Joe that takes on an evil organization led by a notorious arms dealer.

Leo has also appeared in a few high action television shows like “Children of the Corn”, “Leo Little's Big Show”, and “Zeke and Luther”.

All that practice has paid off, and now Howard is heading to the big big screen as the younger version of Conan, played by Jason Momoa, in “Conan the Barbarian” due in theaters later this year.

Conan tells the tale of Conan the Cimmerian and his adventures across the continent of Hyboria on a quest to avenge the murder of his father and the slaughter of his village.

We’re sure with Disney behind his promotion, Leo Howard and his karate skills could go on to be the next Disney teen idol.

After all, Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus will be leaving the nest soon and Disney needs to keep the machine running.

Selena Gomez says, “I’m Feeling Much Better Now” – Continues Concert Tour

Singer, songwriter, and actress Selena Gomez says she is feeling much better today after her health scare over the weekend.

No, she is not pregnant. No, she did not pass out from food poisoning.

Gomez had cancelled a Friday concert at Santa Monica Place and rescheduled it for today after falling ill Thursday night while taping the Jay Leno Show.

Gomez took to her twitter account saying,

"Thank you all for being so understanding. I can't wait to see you all today at Santa Monica Place for the Monte Carlo kickoff!"

It seems the whole problem was over high blood pressure and exhaustion.

After an overnight stay in the hospital, and a brief return Saturday for test results, she has been given the “all clear” and is moving on with her schedule.

In addition to her ten city concert tour she is also releasing her romantic comedy “Monte Carlo” on July 1st.

Selena Gomez Returns to the Hospital Briefly – Now We Know What The Problem Was...

Selena Gomez made another visit to the hospital on Saturday – but not for an emergency.

She returned briefly for more tests and to hear the results of tests performed last Thursday after being rushed to the emergency room after taping the Jay Leno Show.

After her overnight stay Thursday she was released on Friday but returned Saturday only for routine follow-up tests.

Rumors ran wild Thursday night, and her boyfriend Justin Bieber even cancelled his trip to watch the Stanley Cup playoff game so he could monitor her progress.

Some said Gomez fell ill from food poisoning while others speculated she was pregnant with Bieber’s love child.

Not true.

It seems that Selena had a sudden spike in her blood pressure while on the NBC lot Thursday and was suffering from an extreme headache and severe exhaustion.

An NBC employee said,

"She did a backstage interview and hung out with Jim Carrey after the show. The Tonight Show people didn't even know she wasn't feeling well."

Gomez cancelled a Friday concert in Santa Monica but has since rescheduled it for Monday evening. From there she will perform a ten city concert tour.

Her blood pressure is being monitored and so far nobody really seems to know why things got so bad when they did.

So all the rumors can be laid to rest and Gomez seems to be just fine and is being watched closely.

Trace Atkins Tennessee Home Totally Destroyed by Fire – Wife and Kids are Fine

Legendary country music star Trace Atkins lost his home to fire on Saturday but his wife and children are reported to be okay.

Atkins, who was traveling on business, was not at the home but his two children and housekeeper were.

His wife Rhonda was out running errands and was only ten minutes away when the fire started in the garage of the 5,000 square foot Brentwood Tennessee home.

Trace and his wife had lived in the home for more than ten years.

A babysitter was able to get the children and family pets out of the house before calling the fire department.

Rhonda told a local reporter,

"I'm just numb," the singer's wife of 14 years told The Tennessean. "I'm sad because we lost irreplaceable things like all Trace's awards and our family photos. But you can replace things, not people. I'm just glad that my children are safe."

In addition to his country music career, Atkins has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2003, and has appeared on Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice and several episodes of “King of the Hill”.

He is also the author of “A Personal Stand: Observations and Opinions from a Freethinking Roughneck”. His book was published in 2007 and showed his strong political and social views.

One interesting fact about the singer is his pinkie finger on his left hand is permanently crooked to fit around the neck of a guitar. Many years ago Trace cut off the finger in a work accident and he asked the doctors to reattach it in a different position to fit his guitar.

Trace is currently filming the movie “The First Ride of Wyatt Earp” starring alongside Val Kilmer. The film is due in theaters sometime next year.

“Super 8” Movie Trailer and Review – Amazing Summer Movie – Bring it!

The hot days of summer are upon us.

Memorial Day is behind us.

And we all know what that means……

The summer blockbusters are coming!

And to start things off this month is the great looking flick “Super 8” and a new movie trailer.

Think “Cloverfield” meets area 51.

In fact, the original screenplay was developed to be the sequel to “Cloverfield”, so you can do the math on what to expect - serious science fiction and inhuman things.

Usually we can tell by the movie trailer if we think a film is going to be any good, and all we can say about the “Super 8” trailer is this film is going to rock.

Not really a kid’s movie, but definitely a predominately teen kid cast – but with very adult adventures.

The production values of this flick are undeniable because it was written and directed by J. J. Abrams and produced by Steven Spielberg.

It stars the young Elle Fanning, AJ Michalka, and Kyle Chandler, and has Spielberg’s trademark all over it.

The story goes like this – a group of kids are playing around with their super 8 movie camera when they witness a train derailment.

It turns out to be a deliberate derailment of a United States Air Force train named "Groom Lake One", which was transporting undisclosed materials from Area 51 to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

After the wreck, some unknown entity escapes from one of the cargo cars and begins to cause havoc on the small town of Lillian, Ohio.

Suddenly, the military and other spooky looking Government suits start showing up and taking over.

All the dogs in town run away and strange things start happening all over.

There are disappearances, unexplained events, and eight missing people. The local sheriff investigates the cause of the events which leads to the discovery of something inhuman.

And the kids have it all on Super 8 video….

The budget for "Super 8" was a modest $45 million and is due in theaters and IMAX June 11th.

Welcome to the blockbuster movie season!

Video - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo – Red Band Trailer Leaked – Or was it?

It’s being called the feel bad movie for Christmas.

Everybody has been dying to see an official movie trailer.

And now, the red band trailer has been leaked to the internet.

Or has it?

In what appears to be a leaked movie trailer for director David Fincher’s “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” we get our first glimpse of what’s to come.

But some experts are saying it was not a leak at all, but rather a clever marketing ploy by Sony to make it look like a leak.

“If this was a real leak, Sony would have pulled that trailer off YouTube so fast it wouldn’t have been funny. This was no leak. The sound is exceptional, and there is an American MPAA rating that shouldn’t be there in a European trailer. We think Sony knew exactly what they were doing”.

Agreed.

This looks an awful lot like a “Cloverfield” type viral video stunt by Sony to get the trailer into American hands, and the web site shown at the end of the trailer redirects to Sony’s main move portal.

Sneaky? Yes, and very effective.

This would not be the first time Sony has used viral videos to promote an upcoming project.

The film remake of the popular book is said to be costing $100 Million to complete and stars Daniel Craig, Christopher Plummer, Stellan Skarsgård, Rooney Mara, Embeth Davidtz.

For those not familiar with “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” book, here is a little overview.

The original Swedish title translated into English as "Men Who Hate Women"), and is an award-winning crime novel by Swedish author and journalist Stieg Larsson, the first in his "Millennium series".

A complete plot summary can be found here on Wikipedia.

After seeing this movie trailer and knowing about the book trilogy – we can’t wait to see this movie.

This is a story of how two people find true love – through a movie trailer.

Matt and Ginny were in love.

Matt wanted to surprise Ginny with a fantastic marriage proposal – so he came up with a brilliant idea.

Matt made a fake movie trailer and asked the local theater to run it while his girlfriend was there with her brother - while Matt waited outside. Once the trailer finished, he jumped into action and asked her to marry him.

In the trailer Matt films himself asking Ginny’s father if he can take his daughters hand in marriage.

Matt is not a big-wig Hollywood producer, but rather a humble insurance salesmen, but his sense of film techniques is amazing.

Ginny’s brother duped her into going to see “Fast Five” and she had no idea what was about to happen.

Matt had even wired the theater with cameras so he could capture the her reaction.

Ellen DeGeneres had the happy couple on her show Friday and the YouTube video of Matt’s proposal has already received over 14 million hits.

This is the greatest proposal video of all times, and is the cutest thing InfoStar has seen in a while.

Antonio Banderas Bizarre Film “The Skin I Live In” Shocks Cannes – Video

We all know the Cannes Film Festival is a place for the Hollywood elite to rub shoulders and sell movies.

We also know that sometimes these smaller hard hitting films never see the light of day.

This year, mega star Antonio Banderas and writer producer Pedro Almodóvar were at Cannes to unveil Pedro’s latest film project “The Skin I live In”.

Okay, so how bad could it be?

It’s not so much bad as it is graphic in nature and spirit.

The story goes like this:

Banderas plays the role of Robert Ledgard, a brilliant surgeon with a beautiful young doughter. His daughter is brutally raped by a man, and the young girl ends up killing herself due to the traumatic event. And Banderas cuts off, and preserves her face.

Okay, so far it’s not that bad right?

Later in the film, Banderas tracks down and kidnaps the man who raped his daughter. But instead of turning him over to the police, or killing him out of a crime of passion, he does the most shocking thing ever imaginable for a plot.

He gives the man a sex change and transplants the face of his daughter onto him. To make matters worse, he rapes the man and has sex with him – as a woman – now wearing his daughters face.

Told you.

IMDB describes the film as being based on Thierry Jonquet's novel "Mygale", a revenge tale that tells the story of a plastic surgeon on the hunt for the men who raped his daughter.

But viewers at the Cannes film festival became a bit shocked during the screening and started to walk out due to the graphic nature of the plot.

One group of Americans that had been flown to Cannes, all expenses paid by the director, left in the middle of the film and never returned.

One U.S. citizen who left during the screening said,

"It was the fact that the victim was supposed to look like the doctor's daughter. I couldn't stop picturing the girl in the beginning of the movie when he was in bed with her, with him, later."

The movie is expected to be released in the United States in November 2011.

This is NOT a chick flick, so guys, don’t plan to take your date to see it or she may never look at you the same way again.

Justin Bieber to Release Women’s Perfume

He is already worth $150 Million.

Forbes ranks him as the third most powerful celebrity.

He has a $90 Million 3-D Movie.

He just got done performing over 150 arena concerts.

What’s left for Justin Bieber to conquer in this world?

How about a women’s perfume.

Bieber just announced that this June he will be releasing a female fragrance named “Someday” that will retail for $35. He has even gone as far as saying he will donate all the proceeds to charity.

Is there anything this kid can’t do? Or won’t do?

While most macho rock stars are inclined to create a masculine men's cologne, Bieber thinks the way to his fans heart is through a women’s fragrance. After all, he was successful in marketing his own brand of girl’s finger nail polish.

Bieber told Women’s Wear Daily,

"The way a girl smells is very important to a guy, I have such a deep connection with my fans, so creating a fragrance that I personally love is another way I can bring them closer to my world."

We wonder if Bieber had some input from his girlfriend Selena Gomez - because what does a guy know about creating a perfume that girls like.

This kid just won’t stop. And he is still working full tilt.

The day after returning from Japan, and the final shows on his My World tour, he was seen on set at Universal Studios in California with rapper Chris Brown filming his new music video for “Next 2 You”.

He also just released a new cover single, the first new song in almost a year, which showed a more mature side of the 17-year-old singer. In fact, we had to listen to it twice before we believed it was actually Bieber.

We say if you can do it – do it.

Bieber has not been arrested, doesn’t have a sex tape on the internet, hasn’t fathered illegitimate children, doesn’t curse, is clean-cut, isn’t full of devil tattoos, and seems to still love his mother.

Our take:

Let the kid go for it. We rather have our children looking up to, and listening to, the music of someone like Bieber instead of, well… you see where we’re going.

Party on Biebs! Get it while you can.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Hollywood Career is Over – Three Projects Cancelled

Things just keep getting worse for Arnold.

First, he announced his 25 year marriage with Maria Shriver was over.

Next he admitted to an affair with an ex-housekeeper and fathering a love child that is now 13-years-old.

And now Hollywood is putting the brakes on his future movie career.

Arnold’s damage control firm released a statement yesterday saying,

“At the request of Arnold Schwarzenegger we asked Creative Artists Agency to inform all his motion picture projects currently underway or being negotiated to stop planning until further notice. Mr. Schwarzenegger is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or timelines. We will resume discussions when Governor Schwarzenegger decides.”

From what we hear it was not as much a matter of Arnold bowing out, but rather the studios pulling the plug on the actor because of his current “personal matters”.

In fact, Arnold had several big deals in the works including a return to his role in a “Terminator” sequel. It was a sure thing and studios were lining up to make it happen. Not anymore.

Arnold had also entered into a deal with comic book legend Stan Lee to produce a television series called “The Governator” lending his voice talents to the lead crime fighting character. Unfortunately, the series was to show Arnold fighting crime with the help of his wife Maria and their four children. Awkward.

A rep says,

"In light of recent events, A Squared Entertainment, POW, Stan Lee Comics, and Archie Comics, have chosen to not go forward with the Governator project."

Another project that has now been taken off the table is “Cry Macho”, about a retired horse trainer who gets caught up in an international kidnapping scheme.

The film was written by Richard Nash, and was to be directed by Brad Furman, and produced by Bill Block and Albert Ruddy - but not anymore.

The other movie deal in the works was “The Last Stand”, where Arnold would have played a sheriff chasing a drug cartel leader who busts out of a courthouse and runs for the Mexico border.

This film was written by Andrew Knauer and scheduled to be directed by Jee-woon Kim.

Both movie projects were in pre-production with filming to start in 2011-2012 with a release date of late 2012 or early 2013.

Nobody is saying for sure that these projects will NEVER happen, just that they have been taken off the table “until sometime in the future”.

If things blow over for Arnold I suspect we could see him wiggle back in to the movie biz, but if the public (and Hollywood) turn on him then it’s over.

Hasta la vista, baby

Arnold explains the real reason he split from Maria Shriver.
