When I was with Steve & Garry's show in the late 80s/early 90s they crucified fellow radio guys who pulled stunts like this. I still clip articles about these wacky DJs out of habit. This guy is in St. Louis. From Tom Taylor's column this morning...
"How long will WIL, St. Louis morning man Cornbread live on the rooftop of the InterPark East Stadium Garage? Until the Cardinals win the Series. Cornbread did a “Roof-Top Rally” in 2006, the last time the Cards made it to the championship. This year, it’s St. Louis versus the Texas Rangers - and the Cards won the opening game last night, 3-2. But the weather's turned cold and rainy, and surely Cornbread, of Hubbard's WIL (92.3), is hoping for a short Series."
By the way, I know this may be grounds to get kicked out of Cubbie nation, but I have found myself rooting for the Cardinals. It's never happened to me before. I have no idea why I'm doing it either. Quick, someone throw some cold water on me. Maybe Cornbread can help. He's certainly getting his share of cold water on that rooftop.
